As a Startup in the growth phase, our current challenge is to migrate to new technologies, rebuild some services, make changes in our software architecture, and build whole new products.About Our Growth Squad.The Growth team is in charge of helping more e-commerce businesses succeed with Bosta and become customers. We launch and roll out a series of new features across all services of Bosta, or we even create completely new products from scratch. You?ll be part of the Growth engineering team collaborating with people from the marketing, customer success, and design. Everything you work on will have a direct and measurable impact on Bosta?s metrics and trajectory. If you are motivated by solving customer pain points and seeing the impact of your code on the business in weeks, and if you love questioning assumptions and building MVPs to validate them, then this could be a perfect opportunity for you! + Design and create services and system architecture for your projects, and contribute and provide feedback to other team members via technical design sessions.+ Collaborate with the front-end engineers in building, shipping scalable APIs to be consumed by our client-facing solutions.+ Build and maintain third-party API integrations, fetching, processing of data.+ Work with the product and design teams to discuss the requirements of the value teams (including business, marketing, sales, logistics operations), understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into usable and scalable features.+ Find the right balance between progress (i.e. shipping quickly) and perfection (i.e. measuring twice). + 1+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer.+ Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related fields is preferred.+ Strong programming skills in JavaScript, , Express framework and related technologies.+ Experience with NoSQL, preferably MongoDB.+ Experience in creating robust and secure RESTful APIs.+ Familiarity with version control systems (we use git).Ability to jump in legacy code and understand it quickly.+ Demonstrated expertise in managing a broad system with multiple integrated components.
