Manage and review all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition to ensure they are accurate.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and tax filings.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Oversee all financial control activities, including reviewing and analyzing monthly and quarterly and yearly numbers and disclosures.
Provide executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective decision making.
Coordinate and summarize budget trends, analyze deficiencies and report variances to executives.
Coordinate audit processes and provide external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.
Oversee tax preparation duties or liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation.
Evaluate and manage risks.
Recommend changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
Monitor internal controls and report discrepancies as necessary.
Implements best practice procedures for finance reporting systems and documentary cycles.
