Job Description

The PositionSummaryThis position is ideal for ambitious, experienced professional candidates.This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve accounting processes, procedures, financial reporting and growth in corporate accounting environment.Job responsibilities

  • Analysis of monthly general ledger account activity, journal entries, accruals, variances to forecast,
  • Reconciliation of various accounts, fixed asset administration, and various employee benefit accounting
  • Accounts payable and payment run process
  • Tax compliance support as needed for various state reporting
  • Assist in preparation of audit work papers for yearend audits with outside auditors
  • Respond to internal and external customer requests as appropriate
  • Assist company in executing company policies and compliance procedures
  • Other corporate accounting duties or supervision of duties as assigned
  • E-Invoicing project handling
  • Monthly Travel as well as entertainment expenses management and analysis
Who You Are
  • You hold a relevant Bachelor Degree
  • You possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with significant accounting responsibilities
  • You have experience with Big 4 Tax Consultant Firms
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Tax experience in some general partnership or corporate tax laws/preparation is an asset
  • You are able to work cooperatively with others in a team environment
  • A Self-starter with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • You possess excellent communication skills
