Lead and manage the brand / PORTFOLIO of brands to maximize the profitability of the brand by using stock, staff and branding, in-stores to sell products at the budgeted sales, margin & markdown levels.Devise / Implement a product marketing strategy which enhances profitability/ brand image and obtain agreement with the brand principal.Establish, maintain and improve the brand name as a recognized and trusted one in the mind ofthe consumer.Protect those company assets attributable to the brand(s) by applying or contributing to the company s policies and procedures which control and regulate those assets.Management:Ensure each brand is profitable using P&L by POS metrics applying al related costs to POS.Manage the area in-store teams to present the product in the most commercially Effective way to maximize the full price sales and minimize any discounts givento completely sell the product.Motivate and lead the brand team to achieve the highest possible full priced sales by product knowledge, excellence in customer service and teamwork and by effective use of the sales incentive scheme.Open new POS to the required brand standards by liaising with contractorsand suppliers to achieve on time highest store opening standards.Meet with potential brands to import and distribute in local market by area or region.Contact Potential retailers to list brands.List brand on E-COMMERCE & Online stores. Attend any activities related to the field such as convention / trade shows/ beauty events.Product Procurement / Pipeline / Replenishment To purchase appropriate product for sale in stores which is appealing both Style /content and price vs. competitors in the right quantities and sizes for the market,using sales history, experience and knowledge of the market.To then ensure it is sent to the right stores at the right time in the season inthe correct size ratio and range width.Place orders with suppliers international.Over see daily monthly orders and replenishment of stock levels based on MIN-MAX of each SKU by store By POS.Budgeting & Cost control: Set Purchase budgets from international suppliers.Set targets by brand by POS by Sales Person.Set MKT. budgets by brand and spending.Plan the expenditure of the area /store teams on overtime, sundries, maintenancestore damaged goods / testers, staff uniforms and administration (e.g. transport/banking)costs to minimize the operational costs of those stores and thereby maximize store profits.Training & Recruitment:Interview, recruit & train BA s to understand and work upon the brand values, positioning and best practices implementing the brands messages, both commercial and marketing.Over see training programs to upgrade and enhance the performance of BA s with respect to sales and product knowledge.Frequently asses with HR the performance of BAs, and report all related actions.Marketing & Merchandising Ensure that the stores maintain the brand image to the standards set by the brand principal or higher and to adhere to the relevant laws when conducting local.Attention to the brand equity and perception in the market.Attention to all details related to the presence of the brand in store from display to BA.Handle Social Media AccountsPlan activation in stores.Set MKT. plans 60 days ahead includes launching dates, arrival of new collection.Approve collaboration with content creators & bloggers / influencers.Over see Plan-o-grams of brands in POS level.Change frequently look and feel of display stands /shelf talkers and visuals.Education Qualifications & Relevant Experience:Degree level or at least 10 years in a senior role in retail (operations or merchandising).Thorough understanding of the retail industry in general and store operations/ merchandising in particular.Detailed product knowledge appropriate to the brand category.Comprehensive understanding of range construction, margins and stock planning toeffectively purchase product.Awareness/understanding of competitors differential product offers and a basic understanding of advertising/marketing.Understanding and awareness of P&L operation and control.
