The assignment is to carry out 2 auditing missions (approx. a visit every 6 months) on the works of the consultant for a road project. The duration for every audit mission visits shall be approximately 3 weeks (6 working days/week).a. Plan the audit mission activities over the 3 weeks based on the provided progress data received from Client.b. Lead the audit team (consisting of Audit Specialist Material Engineer and Road Safety Specialist) during the audit mission.c. Present a professional opinion on the compliance of road works carried out with the technical specifications and standards included in the relevant bidding documents and contractsd. directly responsible for identifying the precise locations where samples are to be drilled or collected by visual inspections, supervise the sampling and testing process within the work scope.e. directly responsible for identifying road safety measures that will be tested, including definition of precise locations where samples are to be taken if such equipment is already installedf. Audit and review the performance of all works and professional care by visual inspections, through works progress and completion reports, and review of laboratory test results (including third-party laboratory results), purchase orders for various materials and elements (such as certificates of origin being manufacturers’ responsibility, etc.), variation orders, time schedules and other relevant documents, in order to determine to what extent works have been executed in compliance with the requirements of specifications, whether procedures were followed, and whether there are good justifications for instructions and variation orders that may have been issued.g. will be responsible along with team of preparing the audit report based on observations, findings and test results obtained from the laboratory during the mission, along with any addendum.h. should be capable of carrying out presentations and training for local engineers.i. Along with team, He shall provide formal training sessions (Class room training sessions) and on job training sessions for the Client personnel.
