Manage the day to day activities relevant to Quality Control coordinating activities required to meet Company, Plants, Stakeholders and regulatory quality standards.
Maintain and improve the quality standards to ensure compliance with all legislation.
Manage and maintain the companys internal quality audit program for internal & external Audits.
Ensuring Quality Manual, procedure, work instructions are followed and changes are done as per system.
Conduct training on HACCP etc, for all employees.
Conduct Lab tests and product evaluation continuously.
Ensure compliance with specific external and internal standards including ISO 9001.
Ensure the internal audit schedule is kept fully updated and all recommendations and NCRs are relayed back to the relevant business areas for action and to be closed off and effective.
Together with Line Managers, identify training needs to meet quality and food safety requirements and deliver or coordinate internal training where appropriate.
Regularly communicate with Operations regarding quality and food safety issues, attending daily operations meetings to report any relevant issues.
