Job Description

The Pipeline Engineer would work in the Maintenance department and would be involved in day to day operations in supporting Integrity management for flowlines and pipelines. Duties include but not limited to

  • Overall stewardship in reducing corrosion and maintain integrity of the flowlines and pipelines
  • Maintenance of accurate database of flowlines and KPIs associated with integrity management
  • Planning and maintenance of cathodic protection systems in the field. Coordination of CP surveys, monitoring and ongoing adjustment of CP currents. Supporting projects in the installation and commissioning of new CP systems
  • Coordination of installation and maintenance of corrosion inhibitor skids in the field. Coordination and surveillance of corrosion inhibitor injection
  • Corrosion surveillance?including stewardship of fluid analysis, coupons/probes
  • Coordination of Pigging activities
  • Coordination Inspections of pipelines using traditional and new technologies
  • Temporary and permanent Repair recommendations. Coordination of repairs.
  • Risk based inspection and maintenance planning. Coordination of spare procurement
  • Fitness for service assessments and RCFAs
  • Develop periodic reports to management on integrity management of?flowlines/pipelines, risk assessments, opportunities, plans
  • Serve as single point of contact to operations and maintenance flowline and pipeline integrity management
