KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES? Identify, manage and mitigate legal risk issues across K.S.C.C? Ensure K.S.C.C compliance with legislation, regulation and the requirements of authorities and other organizations? Provide day-to-day advice and guidance regarding regulatory compliance issues, risk management and company policies and procedures.? Recommend and draft formal legal responses to issues? Provide legal support in area of contracts & Tenders? Provide legal support for all departments such as HR? Work with HR on Developing, improving and interpreting company?s policies, procedures and programs related to compliance, ethics and integrity.? Develop a working knowledge and growing expertise in laws and regulations affecting the company?s business beyond labor and employment matters.? Prepare periodic reports on status of compliance matters and investigations.? K.S.C.C senior executives and managers abreast of new legislation, court decisions and other developments in employment law, industry best practices and trends.? Point of contact with external Legal offices & the Corporate Legal Counsel.?Key PERFORMANCE INDICATORS/AREAS??? Legal Risk issues are timely identified, properly managed and mitigated?? K.S.C.C Fully comply with legislation, regulation and the requirements of authorities and other organizationsTimely preparation of the required reports on status of compliance matters and investigations and submit to ManagementK.S.C.C senior executives and managers are aware of the new legislation, court decisions and other developments in employment law, industry best practices and trendsAppropriate timely Legal Support and advice provided to K.S.C.C departments and employees for handling business operations, contracts and TendersProcedures, policies and all K.S.C.C documents comply with Legal requirements (No Legal Risks on K.S.C.C)Appropriate Formal legal responses to issues are shared on-Time with concerned partiesPoint of contact with external Legal offices & the Corporate Legal Counsel
