- To work as and guide a team of Design Engineers / Designers to finish the required designs (start from Basic design to Detail Design) of the project.- Guide Engineers and Designers to produce plot plan, conceptual pipe routing, piping and pipe lines layout, equipment layout, Piping and pipelines Material Specification, ISOs, pipe cross section, pipe rack loading, Stress report, MTO, piping and pipelines vendor document review etc.- Attend meeting and co-ordinate with client and other discipline and vendors for regular update of the project and clarifications- Communicating with clients throughout the design process to ensure that designs meet their specifications and needs- Working with contractors and constructions teams to ensure that work is done according to design specifications- Determining the type of materials needed for the project based on construction methods, environmental conditions, and safety standards- Creating detailed drawings that include materials, equipment, construction techniques, and sequences of operation for each part of the process- Identifying potential problems with designs and proposing solutions to address them- Developing and implementing codes and standards for piping and pipeline systems in order to meet government regulations- Overall management of resource allocation to all Design Projects- Manage a process of regular technical assurance audits during and after completion of Design engineering projects.- Review Engineering drawings, documents and deliverables in line with constructability- Overall responsibility for implementation of the Design Development Process and procedures during the execution of multi-discipline engineering design projects.- Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing Engineering and Design of the Project throughout the Project duration along with Contractors & engineering subcontractor- Participates to project planning definition by providing engineering milestones and requirements- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately- Ensures that Project engineering activity is compliant with project milestones. Alerts project management in case of unforeseenvariation and suggests if needed mitigation measures- Leading and attending the design and safety reviews and supervises the follow up of the outcomes- Review all Process equipment data sheets, PFD and other documents used for designing, Vendor data, its checking & use in design,Bill of Materials.- Responsible for the electronic 3D models of VENDOR packaged equipment and mounted systems to the same level of detail as perproject requirement.
