Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: ?To supervise and run the dining room operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, by establishing and maintaining a good relationship with the clients, being readily available to clients to allay any concerns or problems that may arise and offering efficient management of the dining facilities under his or her control as per PSGS?s policies and procedures. ??KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:?

  • Applying and following the contractual obligations, PSGS?s policies and procedures
  • Following, implementing and maintaining all ISO and HACCP standards and requirements
  • Recording production of operational data on specified forms
  • Training and supervising junior staff, leading the team to ensure the company service standards are upheld and maintained at all times
  • Ensuring safety training and proper usage of equipment?s and premises is given to junior and untrained staff
  • Enforcing strict compliance to personal hygiene and dress code for all dining room staff
  • Preparing staff rosters, ensuring adequate staffing of the dining room at all times
  • Able to explain the various menu dishes prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
  • Working closely with the kitchen staff to ensure excellent service is provided to all clients and take action to correct any problems
  • Preparing daily requisition for procurement of all food and beverage related items required for the dining room from the stores
  • Checking the quantity and quality of received products
  • Leading the team positively for the development of the enterprise
  • Implementing food safety and HACCP compliance recording production on specified forms
  • Monitoring the total cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant and equipments throughout and after service, checking that the cleaning schedules are being adhered to before signing off
  • Coordinating with Administrator or Camp boss for meal signing sheet records
  • Act as a food safety team member
  • Performing other duties as directed
