JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for total customer satisfaction by providing excellent personal service as per GCC?s policies and procedures. The Barista is a true professional that fulfills any additional duties assigned by the Coffee Shop Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:? Applies and follows the contractual obligations, GCC?s policies and procedures? Follows implements and maintains all ISO and HACCP standards and requirements? Records production of operational data on specified forms? Ensures a high standard of personal hygiene and adheres to the GCC standards of dress code for the position? Provides quick, friendly and personal service by initiating dialogue and developing a rapport with customers? Responds appropriately to customer concerns and reports to the manager with the customer?s feedback? Processes transactions through the POS and counts back change to customers? Maintains the highest level of standards for all food & beverage preparation? Communicates with coworkers & management to solve problems and improve quality & service? Assists in the opening and/or closing of the coffee shop? Initiates suggestive selling and sampling of products? Ensures throughout the service that all table items and condiments are replenished and that the work area is kept clean and tidy at all times? Adheres to the daily clean and deep cleaning schedule? Ensures safe and proper usage of equipment? Performs other duties as directed
