Job Description

*Position Role:?The BDM is responsible for the development of the Middle East & Africa regional market, this includes the active promotion and selling of Osmoflo water solutions, including identifying other sales opportunities with company approved margins related to other Osmoflo products and services.CORE FUNCTION:To sell Osmoflo water treatment Solutions into the regional market. Working closely with the all team members including GWBT, Application Engineers, Operations staff, Proposal team, Standard Products and Projects staff to developing effective technical solutions and commercial proposals to meet the needs of our business and that of existing and prospective customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1-Business Development:

  • Identification of all core water treatment solutions available as Osmoflo product range which include EP, EPC, BOO, BOOT, BOT, Rentals, O&M and Standard Products.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote Osmoflo in the market place- e.g. utilising contacts, functions, cold calling, local advertising and sponsorship.
  • Develop and maintain good understanding of competitors and their capabilities and activities in the territory.
  • Actively participate in the annual sales planning and budget process.
  • Support wider business development plans of the company by identifying in your region or elsewhere?business opportunities and / or new products / technologies etc.
  • Regular reporting on opportunities, sales target developments, meeting / visits using agreed reporting tools and formats.
2- Sales:?
  • Ownership of the regional market, inclusive of promotion, client and site visits, market share growth an all other sales related activities.
  • Drive sales effort and deliver agreed sales target for the territory.
  • Securing of internal support and resources as required to convert identified opportunities and deliver sales targets.
  • Contribute as agreed to the development, submission, clarifications and negotiations of formal sales proposals / bids.
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline for the territory at agreed levels.
3-?Commercial Targets:?
  • Develop and implement a marketing and sales plan for each financial year in conjunction with the National Rentals Business Manager.
4-?Customer Service:?
  • Maintain involvement with the secured Rental or Project in the region during the delivery and after to ensure that the client relationship(s) continue to be positively develop for reference and future opportunities.
  • Solve customer problems by applying own or utilizing other internal and external technical, commercial and/or?contractual expertise.
Other:
  • Cost control on travel, entertainment and other expenditure as agreed and authorised by the Reporting Manager with regular process of expenses claims in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.
  • Attend planned meetings and meet and meet all written and other report requirements as set.
  • Complete all required paperwork correctly and expeditiously.
  • Attend all nominated training and further development activities.
  • Encourage and support new staff members and specifically other sales related staff.
  • Develop sound relationships with Osmoflo stakeholders.
  • Ensure all company tools and other effects provided are properly and responsibly used and maintained.
  • Familiarization with and full compliance with all company procedures and systems ? Quality, WHS, IT, HR etc.
  • Identification, prompt and accurate reporting on all incidents, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement using appropriate company procedures.
  • Recommend changes, liaise with all staff in proposing and improving service levels and business practices.
OHS&E and QUALITY COMMITMENTManagersManagers have a responsibility in their areas of control to ensure:
  • Relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
  • They report and document all incidents into the OHS management system in the allocated timeframe.
  • Conduct investigations into reported incidents and be actively involved in controls to stop reoccurrence.
  • All workers with a compensable injury are assisted with the claim process and if required assisted to return to full duties as soon as possible.
  • All risks to health, safety and the environment are identified, assessed and effectively controlled.
  • The effectiveness of risk control measures are regularly monitored and deviations from standards rectified.
  • Supervisors and employees have adequate knowledge and skills to carry out their health, safety and environmental responsibilities.
  • Regularly consult with employees using, but not limited to, a selection of the following, scheduled toolbox meetings, team briefing, emails, newsletters, notice boards, conversations etc.
  • Employees and their representatives are consulted on any proposals for, or changes to the workplace, work practices, policies or procedures which may affect the health and safety of employees.
  • Compliance to all environmental standards set by legislation and or Osmoflo and document environmental issues as required in the Osmoflo environmental system.
