A reputable Retail company located in Kuwait is looking for a˙Senior Fashion Designer˙who is responsible for designing collections with align to the brand DNA.˙Responsibilities ( In Order of Priority):˙Designing:˙? Propose mood board, color palette, direction for collection and send to Head Designer and MD? Prepare the collection with 30-50 option based on agreed color palette, mood board and fabric. The collection group should be full collection and full outfit, which contain all categories in collection and send to Head Designer and MD for approval.? Create pre designs by using CAD along with the technical sheet (Teck Packs).˙Merchandising:˙? Maintain the business relationship with current suppliers and build new business relationship with new suppliers.? Dealing directly or through Fashion Merchandiser with the supplier in terms of samples? Use your time management for collection planning, reviewing and ordering for arrival in right time? Provide the supplier with the detailed requirements of the collection (line up and Teck Packs) including the sketch, Fabric, Color, garment measurements etc).? After getting the approval from the MD, start working on the samples fitting then provide the supplier with your comments, quality, and any other requirements to proceed? Once receive the initial sample or counter sample or prototype sample use your professional negotiation skills with the supplier to get the best price with high quality.? Supplier will send the corrected /revised fit samples with correction.˙Studio:˙? Supervise photo shoot to make sure the collection is presenting the exact way you designed it specially for celebrities? Support the stylist in selection the perfect match of items and accessories.˙People Management:˙? Supervise, coach, train the team, and provide them all the support they need.?
