Safety Officer

Job Description

Job Responsibilities•Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs.•Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.•Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.•Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.•Organize safety training sessions for employees.Skills Required:•Safety management systems and risk assessment tools.•Knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, or other relevant safety standards.•Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).•2+ years of experience in a safety officer or similar role.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with teams effectively.

Keyskills :
Safety management systems and risk assessment tools. Knowledge of OSHA ISO 45001 or other relevant safety standards. Certification in health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH OSHA).
