JOB PURPOSEThis individual is responsible for quoting MICE groups, working with Revenue and Deployment, building the entire incentive program from start to finish, seeking out and securing new group and charter business, as well as maintaining current customer relationships.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES•Acts as a point of contact for incentive houses, corporate directs and brokers in the US as well as resolves problems and provides timely and professional follow-up;•Serves as liaison between the client, internal teams and department heads onboard to ensure flawless execution of charters while providing exceptional customer service to help create more repeat business for the company;•Plans and coordinates customized events, special onboard programming and entertainment, unique food & beverage requests, production requirements, excursions, custom itineraries, and other items that may be consistent with the parameters of the clients charter agreement;•Escorts day visits, site sailings with clients and corporate programs acting as the main contact onboard to ensure delivery of a flawless program execution which results in repeat business for the company;•Manages the execution of the entire onboard charter or group program, and helps facilitate special requests by working with the appropriate department heads•Assists Onboard Event Managers with any issues that may arise and ensures our team members onboard have correct information regarding function space for all events;•Tracks payments and invoices for Group and Charter Programs as well as manages and tracks MICE marketing budgets;•Coordinates fulfillment of collateral requests for trade shows and events, and represents the company at trade shows and industry events as necessary;•Helps build MICE data base and create HTML campaigns, exclusive promotions, and social media;•Communicates promotional summary to assigned accounts on a weekly basis as well as distributes marketing materials and digital assets to Incentive Houses when made available and upon request;•Coordinates and/or participates in ship tours and Seminar at Sea programs as assigned.
