Job Description

The Internal Audit Manager will play a crucial role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. The Internal Audit Manager will lead a team of auditors and collaborate with various departments to identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate them. His /her expertise will contribute to enhancing our operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial integrity.Responsibilities:- Planning and executing internal audit activities: The Internal Audit Manager would be responsible for developing an annual risk-based audit plan, identifying key areas to be audited, and determining the scope and objectives of each audit.- Conducting internal audits: The Internal Audit Manager would perform detailed reviews and assessments of the company's financial, operational, and compliance processes. This involves examining records, interviewing employees, and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks, and detect any instances of fraud or non-compliance.- Reviewing policies and procedures: The Internal Audit Manager would assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's policies, procedures, and internal controls. This includes reviewing and updating internal control, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.- Reporting and communication: The Internal Audit Manager would prepare comprehensive audit reports that summarize findings, recommendations, and action plans. These reports would be shared with senior management and relevant stakeholders. The Internal Audit Manager would also communicate audit results, provide guidance on risk mitigation, and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.- Team management and leadership: The Internal Audit Manager would lead and supervise a team of auditors. This involves providing guidance and training, assigning audit projects, reviewing their work, and ensuring the team overall effectiveness and development.- Continuous improvement: The Internal Audit Manager would actively seek opportunities to enhance internal audit processes and methodologies. This includes staying updated on emerging trends, best practices, and industry standards, and incorporating them into the internal audit function.
