This project will not only address the short-term needs in maintenance across the Jordanian Education Sector, but also support the Ministry of Education in Jordan in developing a sustainable school maintenance mechanism.Functional ResponsibilitiesPurpose and Scope of AssignmentUnder the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Field Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to the following functions and responsibilities:?Support the selection process of CfW beneficiaries (unskilled workers) and undertake community outreach in coordination with the contractor/s,?Verify the selection of CfW beneficiaries in line with the predefined criteria,?Provide support in operational and administrative issues in relation to the CfW beneficiaries such as facilitating between contractor/s and relevant authorities in securing CfW work permits,?Monitor the contractor/s in managing the CfW beneficiaries including training, compliance with the SOPs, labor standards etc.?Conduct field visits to oversee, coordinate and monitor field level activities of the project;?Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.Monitoring and Progress Controls: Clear description of measurable outputs, milestones, key performance indicators and/or reporting requirements which will enable performance monitoring.
