Caf‚ and Restaurant SectorRequired Experience: 8+ years in warehouse management; experience in the restaurant, caf‚, or food and beverage sector is preferred.Job ObjectiveTo manage the receiving, storage, and issuance of food items and operational supplies, ensuring the availability of stock for daily operations, maintaining product quality and safety, minimizing waste and loss, and ensuring compliance with food safety and inventory control standards.Key Duties and Responsibilities1. Receiving and Inspecting GoodsReceiving shipments from suppliers and verifying their compliance with purchase orders regarding quantity, quality, and expiration dates.Inspecting products?particularly fresh, chilled, and frozen items?and verifying their condition prior to acceptance.Rejecting or reporting any goods that do not meet specifications.2. Storage and Inventory ManagementOrganizing the storage of materials according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles.Maintaining appropriate temperatures for each stock category: chilled, frozen, and dry.Organizing the warehouse to facilitate easy access to materials and minimize spoilage and waste.3. Issuance and DistributionIssuing materials to the kitchen and branches based on documented and authorized requests.Monitoring daily consumption and ensuring the accuracy of issued quantities.4. Stocktaking and DocumentationConducting periodic inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and reconciling them with the system.Documenting all inventory movements?including receipts, issues, damaged items, and expired goods?within the inventory management system. Preparing periodic reports on inventory levels, losses, and waste.5. Safety and ComplianceAdhering to food safety standards (HACCP) and the requirements of relevant regulatory bodies.Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.Ensuring the safety of equipment in use, such as forklifts, refrigerators, and scales.6. Coordination and SupervisionCoordinating with the procurement department to determine requirements and place reorders in a timely manner.Supervising the warehouse staff (if applicable) and assigning tasks to them.
