Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Hydrologist to join our team in Alqasim, Saudi Arabia. As a Hydrologist, you will be responsible for studying and analyzing water resources, including their quality, availability, and movement. You will also be responsible for developing strategies to manage and conserve water resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology and water management, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:

  1. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿResearch and understand the movement of water in the environment and its impacts on the environment
  2. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿSupervision of field activities/research trials
  3. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿOversee groundwater flow and transport modeling in the environment
  4. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAssessment of natural attenuation processes in soil and groundwater
  5. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPerform environmental consulting
  6. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿDesign dams, ponds, piping and pumping systems, as well as sewage system for rainfall
  7. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿStudy water contamination, how it takes place and prevention
  8. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPredict changes in climates and ecosystems
  9. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿSupervise technicians assisting with your research or field work
  10. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPrepare reports and documents with findings and recommendations
  11. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAdvise the management on ways they can preserve their water sources
  12. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿWorking with the Ministry on obtaining required permits
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Irrigation or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrological modeling and water resource management.
  3. Experience in conducting field surveys and collecting data on water resources.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  9. Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and standards.
