Monitors proper implementation of store policies and procedures through constant visits to the stores in the assigned area
Manages periodic meetings with store managers in assigned area in order to review performance, review compliance with standards, share best practices and verify any needs on resources/staff
Monitors and manages store performance (i.e sales, costs, labor productivity, out of stocks, clients complaints,?) for all stores in the assigned area, directing the Store manager with clear recommendations on improvement actions/priorities
Defines budget of the stores in its areas, to be approved by the OPS Director, with the support of the stores managers.?
Responsible for area related shrink.??
Identifies improvement actions and periodically follows up with the implementation
Approves staffing requests for store personnel,
Manages and Facilitates exchanges of resources in coordination among stores for staffing & recruiting, best practice sharing etc.
Ensures effectiveness of in-store Security and provides inputs on Security / loss prevention needs.?
Coordinates store needs & requests with other functions under the supervision of the OPS Director
Coaches Store Managers and drives their development under the supervision of the OPS Manager and directions of the Director.
In the short term, the Area Manager will take on the responsibilities of the Operations Specialist focused however on basic analysis requirements
Supervises compliance issues versus labor law/regulation, public health regulation,..
Supervises Pilots/special project in stores in coordination with other functions
Ensures proper use/good conditions of infrastructures and equipments in the stores
Monitor the local competition and recommend action plans linked to the area assigned.
Participates in the Kuwait Store Development Committee
Is responsible for the implementation of processes in the new store
Is responsible of the last phase in the store development process ( store opening )
