You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. More about this roleWhat you need to know about this position:
  • Identify & Lead NPDs & new project initiatives in G&C category aiming for Growth, Productivity & Infrastructure upgrades.
  • Leading projects through Idea development, Project Development, Execution & evaluation
  • Develop sustainable and robust plans. Present comprehensive and concise summaries. Approve funding requests, permitting, documentation and report progress in accurate and substantive summary.
  • Review project proposals & designs & plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project & vendor requirements,
  • Meet with vendors & OEMs to identify project deliverables, value, equipment, support, service, technology, project scope, scheduling, performance, documentation, and pricing as required.
  • Coordinates with project team to develop and administer work plan and to develop roles, duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Works closely with validation to make sure that all required project documentation is relayed for appropriate project close out and commissioning.
  • Review and provide approvals of all design, supplier, vendor specifications, documents and drawings associated with projects.
  • Coordinate activities of project team including internal and external resources to ensure project progresses on schedule, within prescribed budget, and resolves technical service or technology issues.
  • Support and Meet Departmental, Plant and Corporate HSEQ goals. Work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assess installed plant & manufacturing capabilities & identify engineering projects aimed at sustaining and/or improving the manufacturing processes, and structures.
  • Prepare equipment/process layout & P&IDs during the development phase, installation phase, and final equipment & process commissioning and start-up phase.
  • Prepare requests for quotations (RFQs), and the evaluate offers submitted ensuring the most appropriate cost-effective technical solutions are selected.
  • Prepare projects in detail including AR & timeline development in coordination with all involved stakeholders
