Job Description

* Responds in a timely and efficient manner to guest requests for items such as extra linen or amenities. * Turns in all items found in the guest room to hotel lost/found. * Maintains all work areas and equipment such as cart, vacuum, and closets in clean and neat condition to ensure quality and maximum job efficiency. * Reports maintenance needs, replacement needs, and all problems or unusual matters of significance to immediate supervisor. * All other duties as assigned.Position Overview: To provide neat, clean, and stocked guest rooms and public areas in according to the propertys standards to maximize guest satisfaction and room revenue.Essential Functions:* Cleans bathtub area, toilet, sink, mirrors, tile, chrome, walls, fixtures, counters, and floor surfaces using cloth rags, sponges, brushes, and cleaning chemicals provided by hotel. * Cleans underneath beds. * Removes soiled bed linen and bath linens from guest rooms. Replaces with clean linens as required. Remakes beds. * Dusts all surfaces including furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, vents, shelves, counters and baseboards. * Vacuums entire room and remove trash and debris from rooms. * Replenishes amenities and promotional materials in rooms. * Signs and secures room keys. * Retrieves, stocks, and pushes carts. * Assists with project cleaning in rooms as assigned. * Visually inspects room for cleanliness and appearance, corrects deficiencies.Other:Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meeting is required. Upon employment, all employees are required to full comply with Regency Hotel Management rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel?s facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.Qualifications:The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills and abilities. Education: Eighth grade education or equivalent.
