Product Support, MidThe Challenge:Do you want to build and deliver a powerhouse system that will create efficiency in federal grants management? You know a good application is more than just a nice-looking interface + data and you need the right combination of programming expertise to build a user focused solution. As a software developer, you?ll deliver solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. We?re looking for someone like you to enhance our federal grants management applications.As a software developer on our team, you?ll work directly with your customers to overcome their most difficult challenges and perform help desk support, technical analysis and provide software development. You will work closely with the production support team to ensure customer support requests can be resolved in a tiny manner. You will help troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identify appropriate workarounds, and communicate with a Help Desk Support team on next steps for ticket resolution.You?ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques to implement system improvements and mentor teammates. You?ll work with the development team to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of proposal processing and build IT resilience and reduce risk from supporting outdated technologies.Ready to build systems that will change federal grants management for the better?Join us.   • 6+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience in performing maintenance and troubleshooting of continuous build and deployment systems
  • Experience with SQL, Sybase, Oracle, including writing basic SQL queries
  • Experience with source control management including SVN and Git
  • Knowledge of Java technologies
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelors degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with databases including Stored Procedures, DML and DDL tasks
  • Experience with Spring or other MVC framework
  • Experience with web services including REST and SOAP
  • Experience with build automation including Jenkins and Hudson
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of Software Development Agile Frameworks, including Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Ability to be detail-oriented to keep precise and organized notes on tickets
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting all deadlines and remaining flexible
