As we continue to grow and expand within Australia and New Zealand, we?re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and talented Senior Front End Developer/Technical Lead.As the Technical Lead for E-commerce, you are responsible for managing the development, maintenance and UX/UI strategy of all Alquemie Group brand websites. This means, you think holistically about the entire process of creating useable products and the customer experience. You understand software development best practices and strive to develop maintainable web applicationsWhen you work at General Pants, you?re not just an employee, you?re a defining part of our brand.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and optimise the front end experience of the Alquemie Group websites through the development of features with user experience in mind.Manage Alquemie Group website conversion optimization Program and associated implementation of A/B tests, ensuring features developed for AG websites have users in the forefront of mind and contribute to conversion KPIs.Manage the team?s workload, workflow, time management and ultimate delivery through strong accountability and goal settingWork within an agile development team (internal and external) to deliver front end solutionsCreate and manage a design system that consistently provides a great experience for our customerProvide a high level of communication cross functionally across the whole businessProvide ideas and solutions to solve complex problems and see them through from ideation to implementationWhat we?re looking for:Expert knowledge of front-end development best practices, languages, libraries and frameworksUnderstanding of UX/UI best practicesKnowledge of server-side applications and languages (NodeJS, Java) a plusAbility to develop Integrations with RESTful APIsFamiliarity with agile and lean software development practicesExperience leading or mentoring other developersExperience developing on Salesforce SFRA a huge plus3 + years experience in a similar roleThe Perks:GP Days - take up to an extra 2 annual leave days per year...just becauseDiverse career paths ? it?s over to you!Staff discount ? a generous staff discount* Development ? we want you to get the most out of your role
