Cyberspace Policy Analyst and Subject Matter Expert, SeniorThe Challenge:Warnings about cyber threats are everywhere and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to the Department of Defense (DoD). In all of this ?cyber noise?, how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you ? an information security risk specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.As an information security risk specialist on our team, you?ll use your experience to work with senior leaders to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You?ll review technical, environmental, and personnel details from cyber operations and intelligence to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you?ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. You?ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their DoD critical infrastructure, control systems, operational technology networks, devices and information. • 10 years of experience as a DoD policy analyst conductingresearch and analysis
• Knowledge of cyber operations authorities, policies, and processes
• Knowledge of DoD Mission Assurance Strategy (MA) and Mission Assurance Implementation Framework
• Ability to provide technical and analytical support for policy enhancements
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor?s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with the Intelligence Community
• Experience as a policy SME, specializing in cyberspace cyber operations authorities, policies, and processes
• Ability to analyze reports and briefings on strategy, policy, and doctrine activities
• Ability to lead studies and assessments to identify gaps in cyber operations
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Masters degree
• CISSP or CASP Certification
