Job Description

Communications Specialist, MidKey Role:Design, develop, produce and consult on a variety of internal and external communications materials and media. Apply specific functional knowledge; working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employeesBasic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with communications
  • 2+ year of experience with consulting
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with consulting in collaborative sessions and peer reviews
  • Ability to be a self-starter, multi-tasker and thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze and gather data
  • Ability to synthesize complicated issues and communicate them clearly
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor?s Degree
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience working within DoD community; knowledge of issues facing DoD community
  • Knowledge of sexual assault prevention and response programs and messaging
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Master?s Degree
