Job Description

Cloud Database Administrator , SeniorKey Role:Leverage technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills. Focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Work with development teams and engineers to provide database design guidance. Handle database upgrades and migrations, while monitoring and improving database performances. Provide assessments of data integrity, high availability, data security, and privacy. Work to triage and solve database issues, drive incidents until resolution and employ measures to prevent recurrence. Plan and execute capacity benchmarking on various databases. Develop, implement, and maintain automation tools to manage and monitor diverse database technologies that support the Advana program.Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA / DRE in PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL, or Graph Database
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS or Azure database offerings
  • Experience with databases at TB scale, high throughput and low latency
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting systems
  • Experience with software development in Python/Go/Shell/Perl, PL/SQL for scripting and automation
  • Ability to perform analysis
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree
Additional Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance with a polygraph
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
