This is a 9-month academic year position with a tenure-track appointment.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Teaching in ASN or RN-BSN programs* Incorporate student learning teaching/learning strategies in classroom and lab/clinical instruction.* Participate in Department of Nursing and University Committees.* Ensure student compliance with health requirements.* Participate in student counseling and advising.* Schedule office hours in compliance with University Policy.* Evaluate student performance in classroom and clinical courses.* Develop course schedules and syllabi in compliance with department and University policies.QUALIFICATIONS:* Master?s degree in Nursing* Two years clinical experience as register nurse* Active Louisiana RN license* CPR certifiedAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:All applicants must attach a letter of application, updated vita/resume, copies of college transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
