Job Description

Ensure accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper department.Main Duties:?Ensure that all received items from the suppliers are in good condition and in accordance with purchase orders (in terms of quantity, quality and specifications).?Physically examine and approve the actual goods for quantity, quality, weight, price, etc., and verify the accuracy with the purchase order.?Ensure that all deliveries are covered by approved purchase orders.?Signs suppliers invoice to acknowledge receipt of delivered items.?Reject acceptance of deliveries if not in compliance with quality or standard requirement.?All hotel goods leaving the premises such as returning empty bottles, repairs, or goods borrowed by other hotels must also pass through this department. A pull-out/delivery permit must be filled-out and signed by a security department witness. Nothing is authorized to leave the hotel premises without an approved pull out/delivery permit record.?If there is no invoice or delivery receipt accompanying incoming goods received, one must be made out and signed by the Receiving Clerk and the Delivery Person.?After all incoming goods have been inspected and receiving records verified, the goods should be forwarded to the storeroom or the department concerned.?Any discrepancy in deliveries against purchase orders should be communicated and coordinated to Purchasing Department.?Performs other functions, as need arises, assigned by Cost Controller, Materials Manager and Financial Controller.?Ensure receipts of goods are entered in the system correctly in terms of quantity and price.?Receiving of goods in the system should be done on the day of actual receipt?Ensure to attend related training for personal development and work improvement.?Adhere to set goals and standards of performance.
