Job Description

DescriptionSAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented User Interface (UI) Developer.Note; this position is 100% telework.Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to define requirements
  • Possess proficiency in designing highly reusable components, as part of an enterprise-wide system
  • Experience in designing high-qualiUI ty experiences and use flows across app and web
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Assist the development team in implementing design specifications, providing technical advice and guidance when custom solutions are necessary
  • Present design work to stakeholders and team in both technical terms as well as common language for non-technical users
  • Communicate complex concepts
QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelors degree with five (5) years of UX/UI design experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.Required Skills:
  • Good and/or advanced knowledge of Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or similar design product
  • Ability to provide hi-fidelity mockups for the development team to bring interfaces to life in a detail-oriented fashion
  • General understanding of frameworks like HTML, CSS, and React is desired
  • Be able to manage versioning and publishing of UI components library and style guide
  • Ability to work within an agile work schedule
  • Good interpersonal skills as position requires interaction with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to think systematically, self-motivated, and a problem solver
  • Self-learner with an interest in innovation and learning new technologies and design skills
  • Strong work ethic, reliable and adaptable
