Job Description

DescriptionSAIC has an immediate opening for aSoftware Developerto support the Counter UAS SW development as well as Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering & Integration Directorate (S3I) in support of the Medusa CUAS software in Huntsville, AL.SAIC is the developer of command control software across many CUAS customers. Medusa is the command and control SW for the US Air Forces CUAS system of system.Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for development of software for military systems. Duties will consist of design and development activities using software development tools; participate in software team meetings; hardware and software design and integration reviews.QualificationsEducation Requirements:

  • BS degree with 2+years of related experience; 4 years experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.
Clearance Requirement:
  • Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance or have an active security clearance
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficient Java, C#, WPF
  • Proficient working in a Git environment as well as other DevSecOp toolsets
  • Experience working in a Windows or Linux software development environment
  • Experience developing software unit tests and component level tests
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Self-motivation to continually learn and improve
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge related to Protobuf, gRPC, Spring, XML, Json, Typescript, JavaScript
