Job Description

DescriptionSAIC is currently seeking to hire a Senior Cyber Engineer to join our team located in Huntsville, Alabama.Note: this position is currently working a hybrid remote schedule consisting of 50% on customer site / 50% remote. This is subject to change at customer?s discretion. Candidate must reside in or near Huntsville, Alabama.

  • Works with Cyber personnel and other teams to ensure set up and smooth operation of various lab, development and test environments
  • Assists and coaches other team members to ensure Cyber compliance
  • Performs system administration duties at O/S and application layers
  • Performs vulnerability scanning using various tools
QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor?s degree with five (5) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.Required Clearance: Must have an active Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.Required Certification:
  • Security+ or higher
Required Skills:
  • System administration
  • RMF / Cyber Compliance in a DoD environment
  • Vulnerability scanning
Desired Skills:
  • SIPR access
  • eMASS experience
  • Change management experience
