DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Security Analystto join our Cloud One team to manage Government A-1 DTA VDC projects. The Air Force Cloud One Program is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure that hosts mission systems, applications, services, and data in support of DoD Services and Agencies. Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and DevSecOps principles to provide common services and facilitate cloud application migrations to IL-4, IL-5 and IL-6 (NIPRNet / SIPRNet) AWS and Azure cloud environments.The candidate will develop, and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education training and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Complete understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. Perform assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives. Administers company policies that directly affect employees. Recommend changes to team policies. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.This candidate will be required to perform duties necessary to operate and sustain an AWS cloud environment:

• Operate or modify AWS cloud environment to support application requirements
• DISN network support all components of the DISN to include troubleshooting the infrastructure DISA CAP/IAP connections
• AFNet Active Directory services: monitoring, backup, restore, patching and security assessments
• Anti-virus configuration and management: install, update, monitor, ensure, audit, and provide remediation of servers
• Configure/Manage backup and restore system, configuration, environment and cloud services
• Domain Name Server (DNS); configure and manage cloud environments as provided by the customer
• Active-Active (AA) disaster recovery architecture: planning, testing and execution of the managed disaster recovery solution encompassing applications, systems and environments
• Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)/Certificate Revocation List: configure and manage
• Maintain external-facing firewall, IPS, IDS, and other firewall components
• Patching: OS and Database level

QualificationsTYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Interim Secret Clearance with ability to obtain an active Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Note Top Secret meets SSBI requirements.Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
