Job Description

DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with an active Secret Clearance for the Cloud One program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). The Cloud One Common Computing Environment is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data that will serve the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and DoD. Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of commercial cloud and Managed Service Providers (MSP) residing in Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Cloud One facilitates the USAF and DoDs efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF and USAs IT operations. The candidate for this position may work anywhere in the United States.There is no requirement to work at a SAIC or customer site to support Cloud One.Daily Activities may include:

  • Being responsible for RMF package to support an ATO for a cloud-computing environment.
  • Working with broad knowledge in and application of NIST 800-53 security controls
  • Exhibiting a broad knowledge of security principles including account management, least privilege, need to know and separation of duties
  • Working as an independent self-starter that requires little supervision and executes the mission at a high level.
  • Providing application of DoD-hardened STIG for platforms and application configurations ranging from IaaS to PaaS solutions
  • Performing STIG analysis, document mitigations and assist in remediation across multiple systems
  • Providing clear concise documentation with an attention to detail
  • Supporting POA&M reviews and recommendations
  • Conducting Code Review Security Vulnerabilities Remediation
QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; In lieu of a degree an additional four (4) years of experience may be considered
  • Minimum Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering (IASAE) Level II certified IAW DoD 8570.01M (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), or CSSLP)
  • Compliant with DoD and USAF training requirements in DoDD 8570.01, DoD 8570.01-M, and AFMAN 17-1303.
  • Knowledge of DoD Policies and procedures including DoD 8500.01 and DoD 8510.01.
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and updating of security artifacts
  • Experience with compliance verification methods including DISA STIG, SRGs, and best practices
  • Experience with DevSecOps
  • Knowledge of the DoD suite of security tools including ACAS and SCAP
  • Knowledge of cloud environments
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
  • Active Secret Clearance
