DescriptionSAIC is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support the Enterprise Applications Service Technologies (EAST2) program provides services necessary to operate NASA?s Application and Platform Services (APS) for Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL. APS provides services to operate, maintain, and enhance key Business and Mission-Supporting platforms, applications and infrastructure used across the Agency. Our teams use a fast-paced agile cadence to deliver products and services to programs across all business units at NASA.The Senior Cyber Security Analyst (CSA) is responsible for implementing, optimizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our DevSecOps processes within AWS cloud environment. The candidate is responsible for creating Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) content in Splunk to monitor security events and detect potential security incidents. Perform data analytics seeking, identifying, and confirming cyber threats, risks and vulnerabilities. The CSA responds to security incidents including gathering, analyzing, and presenting forensic evidence. The CSA is responsible for creating and maintaining process and support documentation.This role requires technical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of NIST?s Risk Management Framework. The ideal candidate would be well versed in cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid, and multi-cloud. The role requires the individual to understand the different security challenges across the entire technology stack, including physical, networking, and application. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to work with the various business units, team members, and management. The candidate must possess the ability to work independently and within a larger group of cybersecurity professionals.Responsibilities:

• AWS Cloud Administration
• Splunk Administration
• Vulnerability Management
• Asset Management
• Incident Response Support Activities - could require rotation of on-call support (after hours and possible weekends)
• Tools and Automation (scripting and validating Terraform)
• Provide technical assistance and training
• Provide monthly reporting and metrics
• Communicate, collaborate & coordinate with cybersecurity team, contract, and NASA management

QualificationsRequired Education:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
• Years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

RequiredExperience:

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe or other modern software development methods/practices

Desired Ceritifcaitons (Any of the following):

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• AWS Solutions Architect
• Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
• SAFe DevOps

Clearance:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
