Job Description

DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Logistics Support candidate to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.Responsibilities:Major duties include (but are not limited to)

  • Inventory control of GFE equipment
  • General shipping and receiving functions, and inventory transactions to assess receiving, storage, shipping, or inventory integrity. Conducts accurate monthly cycle counts of Government furnished equipment.
  • Provides on-going mission support with flexible hours to include but not limited to movement of Government property within the facility and from one facility to another.
  • Must be able to function under tight deadlines and must be able to multi-task.
  • Must possess attention to detail.
QualificationsRequired Education:High School and two (2) years or more related experience.Qualifications:
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) is preferred.
Clearance:Candidate must be able to obtain a full Secret clearance; A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance is required to start.COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAICs vaccination policy.
