Job Description

DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:SAIC is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill a Basic-level Program Analyst (Property Accountability) Support position.The primary responsibility is support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) property management program in support of numerous MDA organizations both CONUS and OCONUS. Responsibilities include:Support the development, management and execution of the MDA property management process. Work directly with government customers in the Logistics Directorate and throughout the Agency to assure that all guidelines, requirements and documentation are met in accordance with the MDA policy. Support the Government Component Property Lead and Accountable Property Officers in managing assigned property in accordance with Department of Defense and Missile Defense Agency regulations and policies. Prepare reports documenting progress. Develop and submit metrics supporting the execution of assigned tasks in property management. Be knowledgeable of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense FAR, and Executive Orders for changes to documentation. Develop briefings as appropriate or as directed to provide status or seek additional guidance.Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans. Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employees job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Associates Degree in a related field
  2. Three Years lifecycle logistics experience
  3. Note: Five years lifecycle logistics, supply chain management, logistics engineering, or similar logistics specialty experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
  4. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access)
  5. Active DoD Secret Clearance
  6. U.S. Citizen
DESIRED ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency
  2. Experience with property management
  3. Knowledge of the Defense Property Accountability System
  4. Ability to work multiple projects/tasks for different managers
