Job Description

DescriptionSAIC has an opportunity for an IT Asset Management Associate to support theUS Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program.NOTE: This is a 100% virtual / work from home / remote positionlocated anywhere in the Continental U.S.Summary:The USACE RITS contract will provide modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout the CONUS and OCONUS. Services will support the mission needs of USACE?s Headquarters (HQs) located in Washington, D.C., nine Divisions and 43 Districts, to include over 1,500 field and area project offices and two data centers that are currently located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Hillsboro, Oregon.Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility for this position is to manage government furnished IT assets assigned to contractors, as well as process customer requests for the purchase and installation of hardware assets.
  • Point of Contact for customers regarding inquiries/discrepancies relating to asset state and participate in, or and at times spearhead, the resolution of discrepancies of asset attributes and states.
  • Manage Government Furnished IT Assets for the RITS contract in the ServiceNow IT Service Management Suite and Configuration Management Database, to ensure accuracy and quality of asset management data.
  • Enters and maintains all required data in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Identifies and follows up on discrepancies found during ticket processing, or from report analysis.
  • Functions as a first point of contact regarding inquiries related to government furnished IT assets, and all other information related to IT asset hardware management.
  • Maintains managed IT asset attributes of managed IT assets. Understand basic IT components (infrastructure, software, PCs, Databases) and how they interact with other ITIL practices and other IT industry processes. Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • Provides data analysis for IT asset management reports and metrics
  • Performs other Duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
  • Bachelors and 0 years related experience; OR High School Diploma and 4 years? experience working in a professional environment
Clearance:
  • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain the interim Secret Security clearance to begin working on the contract. Must be able to obtain the full Secret Security clearance. SAIC will assist with the process of obtaining the interim Secret clearance for the qualified candidate.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
  • Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Be highly motivated to learn independently as well as in a team environment
  • Receives assignments in the form of specific tasks for the work to be completed.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of ITIL? foundation certification
  • Knowledge and experience with IT asset management
  • Basic Information Technology (IT) principles and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working in Department of Defense
  • Proficient in ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management systems.
Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
