Job Description

DescriptionSAIC is seeking an Intermediate Technical Analyst to provide MDA systems analysis expertise in the development of new capabilities to identify lethal objects, develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense Systems (MDS) Discrimination and Electronic Protection capabilities, and maintain an understanding of MDA Element Program efforts for Discrimination and Electronic Protection.

  • This individual will be a seasoned professional capable of integrating into a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team to provide detailed/technical analysis, management, and general technical/scientific support/services/products as an integral member of the MDA Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.
  • Develop system architecture products, aid in assuring alignment of MDA element delivers with allocated requirements for test planning
  • Assist with system and element reviews and implementation guides for Missile Defense countermeasures mitigation engineering and the MDA Threat Discrimination Program
  • Assist with the development of technology maturation plans to transfer discrimination and countermeasure mitigation technologies to MDA organizations

  • BS/BA degree with 7+ years of related professional experience
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required; ability to obtain and maintain a TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
  • Possess knowledge of Missile Defense, Radar, Electronic Protection/Electronic Attack engineering fundamentals, and Missile Defense threats
  • Experience in requirements definition, engineering development (Spiral/Agile), and test/demonstration operations
  • Provide systems engineering analysis and support to include developing/reviewing technical performance assessments
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity of Systems Engineering practices and processes
  • Experience working with MDA (Missile Defense Agency)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Effective/strong communicator both verbally and electronically
  • Ability to self-manage and initiate within team structure
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of personnel
