DescriptionSAICis seeking a Ground Test Requirements Engineer that willfocuson

  • Research, innovation and solving mission critical challenges.
  • Provide Missile Defense Agency (MDA) System Engineering Test Requirements (DE/SEF) technical support to the Ground Test (GT) Requirements Lead (RL).
  • Execute SEF processes to support the operational tempo (OpTemp) required to implement the Ground Test Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for both Sprint and Campaign level ground test events.
  • Aiding development of ground test requirements, test concepts, test objectives, and test requirements allocation.
Specific Duties:
  • Aide execution of complete product definitions, integrated timelines, and authority/responsibility definitions
  • Assist Phased Implementation Plan (PIP) increment coordination with MDA System Assessment and other stakeholders to execute test requirements and test objectives definition
  • Develop and implement GT CONOPS governance processes to ensure timelines and process/product quality are met
  • Develop executive level briefings
  • Propose and document techniques for improving implementation and execution of GT event support
  • Coordinate and participate in technical meetings Generate ground test products as defined in the GT CONOPS
  • Interface and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and verify correct capture of test requirements for inclusion in MDA test documentation
  • Identify, track, and assist in resolution of action / watch items resulting from the test requirements coordination process
  • Identify needs of internal and external customers and address their concerns
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Education: BS in STEM degree with 7+ years experienceClearance:Candidates must possess current Secret clearance- Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- 5+ years experience supporting MDA- 2+ years experience supporting MDA ground test- Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.- The position may require a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief as required by federal, state, provincial or local mandates or customer requirements.COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAICs vaccination policy.
