Job Description

DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Evaluation Support Engineer that will support development of an understanding of MDS mission execution and processes and required subsystem interoperability including performance impacts related to the loss or manipulation of critical engagement data.Job Duties:

  • Support the implementation and evaluation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls and DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements on weapons systems.
  • Support the requirements for execution of Controls Validation Tests (CVTs) and characterizing risks associated with any discovered cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:
  • MS Degree in STEM field with 12+ years experience
Required Clearance:
  • Active Secret clearance required
Required Skills:
  • MS Degree in STEM field with 12+ years experience
  • Knowledge of and past experience in implementing and evaluating RMF controls
  • Experience in executing CVTs and characterizing risks
  • Experience with system authorization processes
  • Experience with blue and red team penetration testing techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical information to senior MDA leaders
  • Knowledge of and experience in test planning and execution and evaluation/analysis of data resulting from test events
  • Active Secret clearance required
Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of MDS systems engineering including system assessment is a plus
  • Ability to obtain a TS or TS/SCI Clearance
