DescriptionSAIC is currently seeking a ServiceNow Configuration Management Analyst to support theUS Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program.NOTE: This is a 100% virtual / work from home / remote positionlocated anywhere in the Continental U.S.Summary: The USACE RITS contract will provide modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout the CONUS and OCONUS. Services will support the mission needs of USACE?s Headquarters (HQs) located in Washington, D.C., nine Divisions and 43 Districts, to include over 1,600 field and area project offices and two data centers that are currently located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Hillsboro, Oregon.Job Duties:

  • The primary responsibility for this position is the management and reconciliation of enterprise Configuration Items in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • The CM Analyst will respond to tickets received, reconcile managed CI Classes including mandatory attributes in the ServiceNow System contributing to the overall quality and reliability of data in the CMDB.
  • Collaborates with Service Owners and Service Managers, and other related stakeholders as needed.
  • Supports RITS Service Asset and Configuration Management team assets and enterprise configuration items in the organization, including product lifecycle management, while supporting monitoring and management of incoming requirements to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Support the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Manager, Asset and Configuration Management team, ensuring accuracy in managed assets/CIs supporting the Organization.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the RITS ServiceNow Team, ITIL Practice Owners, and Organization CI Class Service Owners. Proactively look for ways to improve process, identify gaps, recommend changes, and improve data accuracy and quality in the CMDB.
  • Contributes to the overall success of core managed IT asset and Configuration Items and their mandated managed attributes. Will facilitate interactions with the CI Service Owners and collaborate with applicable teams and other system owners/managers to remediate discrepancies identified in the CMDB.
  • Will utilize all viable available configuration management tools/applications to support configuration identification, accuracy, control, reporting, auditing, remediation, and delivery of assets and configuration items in the ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Support the ServiceNow team with Discovery and Service Mapping, by ensuring accuracy and quality of data with asset and CI information.
  • Understand IT components (infrastructure, software, PCs, Databases) and how they interact/relate and the value brought to the organization when these relationships are intact, accurate and available.
  • ITIL background preferred, understanding IT Service Management and the Configuration Management Database.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methods and modern technology environments
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree and 0+ years of experience.
  • Understanding/knowledge of ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM and CMDB technologies offered by vendors such as Flexera, Remedy or ServiceNow.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines, including ITIL v3 or above, Agile Methodology, DevSecOps, and Project Management.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be highly motivated to work independently with remote direction in a remote environment, as well as work within a team construct.
RequiredClearance:
  • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain the interim Secret Security clearance to begin working on the contract. Must be able to obtain the full Secret Security clearance. SAIC will assist with the process of obtaining the interim Secret clearance for the qualified candidate.
Required Certification:
  • ITIL: Foundations v3 or higher
Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000.
