DescriptionSAIC is seeking a REMOTESr. AWS/Azure Cloud Project Manager with an active secret clearance for our Air Force Cloud One program, while working from home.SAIC is seeking candidates for the Cloud One Common Computing Environment (CCE) program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data that serve the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and U.S. Army (USA). Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of commercial cloud and Managed Service Providers (MSP) residing in Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Cloud One facilitates the USAF and USA?s efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF and USAs IT operations. The candidate for this position may work anywhere in the United States. There is no requirement to work at a SAIC or customer site to support Cloud One.The Project Manager:

• Leads the Operations and Sustainment (O&S) team for Cloud One.
• Coordinates team activities with specific team leads for Service Desk support, classified support, and O&S Engineering to meet customer requirements and Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
• Works with Data Transport team lead to maintain data transport services.
• Designs, plans, and integrates cloud computing and virtualization systems.
• Develops and conducts testing of cloud and virtualization systems.
• Evaluates and reports on new cloud and virtualization technologies to enhance capabilities of cloud-based and virtualized services.
• May also provide systems engineering activities such as: Concept of Operations Formulation, Requirements Definition, Analysis and Engineering, System Architecting, System Analysis and Design, Interface and Data Architectures, Validation and Verification, System Integration, System & Op. Performance Analysis, Lifecycle Cost Analysis & Estimation, Decision Analysis and Physical Configuration Analysis (PCA).
• Maintains technical expertise relevant industry standards and in cloud computing and virtualization technologies such as cloud service provider architecture, design, and configuration; cloud deployment models including public, community, private, and hybrid; cloud service delivery models including infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service; automation; hypervisors; containers; virtual compute, storage, and networks; virtual infrastructure management; self-provisioning; and scaling.
• Provides ownership to staffing plans and budgets.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

The Project Manager manages and coordinates specific team efforts, to include:

• Design AWS/Azure environments and topologies, all aspects
• AWS/Azure security and monitoring solutions implementation, including automated responses
• Tools and Automation (scripting ? Terraform, ARM templates)
• Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems
• Proactively identify and resolve operational, tooling and process inefficiencies
• Develop and review project and design documentation
• Develop and review process and support documentation. All aspects of the environment and deployment must also be documented for support and future implementations. Lessons learned and wisdom are documented in KB articles
• Update Knowledge base and Standard Operating Procedures
• Respond to customer requests promptly
• Maintain regular contact with customers during support and projects
• Provide technical assistance and training to user

QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.In lieu of a degree an additional four (4) years of experience is required
• Required certifications are:
  • Security + (or other DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 equivalent/higher)
  • ITIL (DESMF)
• This position requires an in-depth understanding of, and experience with, deployments of various systems to AWS/Azure. Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, storage, Azure AD, etc. are all part of the work performed in this role. Applicant should be comfortable talking about all aspects and features of AWS/Azure. In addition, this role requires a high level of customer contact and collaboration, design, implementation, and involvement in project planning
• Documentation development for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentation to customers.
• An AWS/Azure Project Manager must have 3 or more years of experience and advanced vendor certification and in-depth knowledge of at least one cloud platform
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe or other modern software development methods/practices

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• PMP Certification
• AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• CISSP (or other DoD 8570.01-M IAT III equivalent) Certification
• SAFe DevOps certification
• Experience in an MSP or other IT company highly desirable
• Experience supporting software migration efforts

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:An active Secret Clearance is requiredTarget salary range: $150,001 - $175,000.
