DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Cloud One team to manage Government A-1 DTA VDC projects. The Air Force Cloud One Program is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure that hosts mission systems, applications, services, and data in support of DoD Services and Agencies. Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and DevSecOps principles to provide common services and facilitate cloud application migrations to IL-4, IL-5 and IL-6 (NIPRNet / SIPRNet) AWS and Azure cloud environments.The responsibilities include:The approved candidate will work with the customer POC?s to provide required access, tracking and reporting DISA outages and requests impacting managed services. The manager will also oversee analysis required to determine security group guardrails for managing access in mission system VPC?s. The team will support the customer?s objectives in an Agile approach.Plan, Architect, Assist in Managing, Implement migration for on prem Mission application partners. Engage with Mission Application stakeholders to collect and validate requirements, understand problems and present solutions.

  • Lead and mentor teammates on the program. Prepare/update software interface specification documentation.
  • Participate in engagement meetings for customers
  • Facilitate orientation/discovery meetings, engaging support of the technical team as necessary, to identify and assess the customer?s requirements.
  • Prepare Technical Requirements Notice proposals to enable enhanced support, when needed
  • Establish schedules, track and report on project status
  • Submit and track requests to stand up new environments
  • Provides polite and friendly customer service
QualificationsTYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum of fourteen (14) years or more experience as a Software Engineer with a Bachelors in an Engineering or IT related field OR equivalent work experience. Four (4) years experience with Cloud engineering and networking for AWS, Azure, Agile, GCP or OCI. Additional years of experience may be considered in leiu of a degree. 2 years experience providing customer support, project management, coordination or facilitation of onboarding meetings.Demonstrated technical leadershipExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS:AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI certification. - Security Plus or CISSP certification.REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCESecret clearance required, candidate must have at least an Interim Secret clearance to apply.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience working with US Air Force Cloud One, C1 Dev, or GCCS CCE OperationsCertification ITLI v3 Foundation or Cloud CertificationExperience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud PlatformExperience with and knowledge of DoD (NIPRNet / SIPRNet)Experience with one or more of the following: Fuse Middleware Platform, RedHat JBOSS Enterprise Middleware Offering, Kafka, Apache Camel.Experience with Jira, Confluence and Service Now as user.Experience with Java EE development experience coupled with knowledge of development frameworks i.e. Spring, Hibernate, MVC.Knowledge of integration concepts and technology i.e. queuing, publish/subscribe, data modeling/mapping.Experience with DevSecOps tool chains. (e.g., Maven, Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, Atlassian, Artifactory, etc.)Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000.
