Job Description

DescriptionSAIC has a need for an AvionicsProgram Managerto support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) located onsite at Redstone Arsenal, AL.JOB DESCRIPTION:The candidate will lead the effort focused on cost, schedule and performance in support of maintaining operational platforms, lead the development, integration, test, training, experimentation and analysis of software and hardware solutions. In a team environment, the candidate will lead work directly with funding customer for the development, integration, testing of commercial and tactical military avionics hardware and software components into existing aircraft configurations and future upgrades.QualificationsREQUIREDEDUCATION:

  • Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Solidsystem engineering and management experience
  • Experience managing large (>$10M budget) programs
  • Develop technical information and comfortable presenting to multiple levels of leadership
  • Experience developing critical control gate documentation and leading various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Experience with software and hardware requirements, design, interface and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with strong interpersonal communications skills and ability to work across geographically diverse groups
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
  • Must have an active SECRET securityclearance.
