Roles & ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair complex turbocharger systems, identifying root causes of performance issues and mechanical failures.Perform precise disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of turbocharger components, adhering to strict tolerances.Conduct dynamic balancing and alignment of rotating turbocharger assemblies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Install and commission new or rebuilt turbochargers, ensuring proper integration with engine systems and exhaust configurations.Desired Candidate ProfilePossess a technical degree or vocational certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Hold certifications such as ASE L3 Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Specialist or equivalent specialized turbocharger training.Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically with turbocharger diagnostics, repair, and rebuilding.Demonstrate a strong understanding of internal combustion engines, exhaust systems, and related pneumatic/hydraulic controls.
