Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Al Olaya, Riyadh. As a Senior Accountant General, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, as well as providing insights and analysis to support business decisions.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Revise Projects Petty cash.
  • Revise Project costs.
  • Revise Employee Petty cash.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile Bank statements.ÿ
  • Prepare VAT declarations.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Coordinate with the Operations department payment to suppliers or subcontractors and arrange to receive invoices from suppliers, subcontractors?etc
  • Submit customer invoices.ÿ
  • Update supplier reports upon each payment and attach them with the documents of payment.
  • Update daily reports of the cash-in and cash-out.
  • Update daily reports of the projects Cash flow.
  • Handle monthly costs of employees residence.
  • Handle daily transactions with the Dubai Team.
  • Scanning, Filling, archiving, and uploading all soft copies to Oracle.
  • Responsible for Facility payments (office rent-electricity-pay cash salaries to labors) and Procurement ( Stationary ).
Preferred Candidate:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Experience in the preparation and analysis of Financial Statements
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external auditors for annual audit.
  • Experience with accounting software ORACLE is mandatory.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, regulated company experience is preferred.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Experience with general ledger functions.
  • Advanced business communication skills both written and verbal, Arabic is definitely a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • English fluency is assumed, Arabic is a big plus.
