Success International School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Academic Supervisor to join our leadership team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.The Academic Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing teaching and learning standards, supporting and supervising academic staff, monitoring curriculum implementation, analyzing student performance, and contributing to continuous school improvement.The successful candidate should have strong academic leadership experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and proven experience working in an international or bilingual school environment in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, and support teaching staff to ensure high academic and professional standards.Monitor curriculum implementation and ensure effective delivery of academic programs.Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.Review lesson plans and support teachers in instructional planning and classroom management.Monitor teacher performance and contribute to staff evaluations and professional development.Coordinate assessments, examinations, academic schedules, and student progress monitoring.Analyze student achievement and assessment data to identify learning gaps and areas for improvement.Work with teachers to develop and monitor academic intervention plans.Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and documentation.Organize and facilitate teacher training, professional development, and academic workshops.Work closely with school leadership to develop and implement academic policies and improvement initiatives.Support quality assurance and ensure academic practices align with relevant curriculum, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.Promote student-centered learning, academic excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement.Communicate with students and parents regarding academic matters when required.Foster a professional, collaborative, and positive learning environment.Perform other academic and supervisory responsibilities assigned by school leadership.The successful candidate will be a confident, organized, and hands-on academic leader who can effectively manage staff, strengthen teaching practices, improve student outcomes, and work collaboratively with school leadership and the wider school community.SkillsBachelor?s degree in Education or a relevant field.Master?s degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.Proven experience as an Academic Supervisor, Academic Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, Head of Department, or similar academic leadership position.Previous experience in staff supervision and teacher management.Experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA) is mandatory.Previous experience working in the Middle East is required.Experience in an international, bilingual, or multicultural school environment is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional planning, and academic program management.Experience in classroom observation, teacher coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development.Strong understanding of assessment, student progress monitoring, academic data analysis, and intervention planning.Familiarity with international curricula and examination systems, including Cambridge / IGCSE, Pearson Edexcel, College Board / SAT, Oxford, or similar programs.Strong leadership, staff-management, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate academic documentation.Strong understanding of student-centered learning, inclusive education, academic quality assurance, and continuous school improvement.Excellent written and spoken English.Arabic language skills are an advantage.High level of professionalism, accountability, integrity, initiative, and teamwork.
