Kuwait - Al Ahmadi, Camp ArifjanJob SummaryAECOM has an opening for a Material Readiness Center (MRC) Chief-Supply Manager in Kuwait.The Material Readiness Center (MRC) Chief is the principal advisor for coordinating logistics support across APS-5. The Materiel Readiness Center (MRC) Chief provides technical supervision for the service support mission of the customer and is the key interface between the supported unit and the USG. Manages cross functional mission oversight and resource analysis to support Project wide initiatives. Synchronizes with Maintenance, Supply (including TPE and MRC), and Transportation functional managers, ensuring subsidiary necessities and implied tasks are accomplished efficiently and effectively.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:?Reports directly to the Project Manager.?Advises the Project Managers on support requirements versus support assets available.?May be required to work independently, or with a Team.?May be required to maintain responsive interface directly with USG customer to ensure mission requirements and expectations are met.?Required to provide oversight of all Material Readiness Center functional areas.?Provides management oversight on cost, schedule and mission performance.?Provides oversight of strategic planning utilizing the MDMP process.?Provides monthly and yearly workloads for maintenance and supply managers?Analyze reports, surveillance guidelines, maintenance schedules, performance, trend analysis, and requirements determination.?Responsible for reviewing all Government correspondences prior to release.?Ensure specific mission/project bench mark goals are identified and attained.?Provide management oversight in development of Concept of Support/Course of Action briefs, APS-5 Set Annual Issue Exercise requirements and issue plans IAW contract requirements.?Reuired to manage operational activities and department metrics.?Direct oversight of coordination of a multiple mission requirements including APS Set Readiness.?Review mission analysis (MDMP), for determination of both specified and implied tasks required to complete an assignment.?Coordinates external support requirements as required.?Synchronizes support requirements to ensure they remain consistent with current and future operations.?Plans and monitors support operations and making adjustments to meet support requirements.?Coordinates support locations and time schedules with Departmental Managers, and supported units.?Prepares and distributes the external service support SOP that provides guidance and procedures to supported units.?Provides input to supported units on the logistic estimate and service support annex to orders and plans.?Prepares the support command's external service support annex.?Provides technical assistance to supported units.?Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.Minimum Requirements?High school diploma or equivalent required.?Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Business Administration/Management or equivalent highly preferred. Four (4) additional years of experience over minimum required can be substituted for degree.?U.S. Citizenship required.?Secret Clearance required.Experience:?Prefer a former U.S. Army Logistics Corps or Warrant Officer with Support Operations and/or Brigade/Division S4/G4 materiel management experience?12 years of related civilian or military experience required.?10 years supervisory experience required.Specialized Knowledge and Skills:?Must have the ability to interpret and implement local policies.?Must have an intermediate level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook.?Must have progressive written and oral communications skills.?Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.?Possess the capability to use appropriate logistics STAMIS systems such as: GCSS, LMP, LIW, and AWRDS information systems.Certification & License: Project Management certification preferred.Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:?Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.?Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.?Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.?Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.Preferred QualificationsN/A
