Job Description

To undertake R & D activities for the department to develop new procurement procedures to improve customer satisfaction, reduce cycle time and reduce process defects by use of new concepts and performance standards.JOB OBJECTIVES1. To study existing procurement process to introduce global best practices and concepts.2. To assist the Corporate Department Manager- Procurement in developing strategies for the Procurement Department3. To implement and manage e-procurement methods, processes and tools into the organisation in order to keep up with new technologies and methodologies4. To conduct analysis that assists the Corporate Department Manager - Procurement to make evaluative decisions5. To supervise e-procurement staff and systems under the framework of the balanced scorecard6. To identify sources of supply for materials not available locally and to streamline and accelerate operations.7. To safeguard Company?s financial rights.8. To supervise all Store administration and store activities.ESSENTIAL WORK ACTIVITIES? Presenting / Selling ? Assessing / Evaluating? Deciding ? Implementing / Coordinating? Influencing / Advising ? Project Controls ? Project Management? Cost Estimation? Tendering & Contracts? Communication Skills? Leadership Skills? Intuition and team skills? Listening Skills? Negotiation Skills? Networking and sales? 15 to 20 Years of work experience as an Engineer with experience in all aspects of project management and controls.Desirable:? Work Experience as a Business manager with experience in administration, Team leadership, Negotiation, networking.? A Masters Degree in Business Administration
